More happy news for the Elite Intl. Barcelona Golf Academy has arrived from the Russian players who came to the Barcelona Golf Club for a stage, with the victory of Ilia Kapanov in Cyprus.
Surrounded by a top quality field of international and local golfers, the event was the Cyprus Amateur Men’s Open 2019, organized by the Cyprus Golf Federation (CGF) between 17th and 19th of May 2019, at the Secret Valley Golf Resort. Although the temperatures rose after a few previous days of cold wind, the conditions over the three days were still challenging.
For the third time the player Swiss Alessandro Noseda was the absolute winner of the event, and in the draw of winners Ilia Kapanov shined out as the Best Junior, with a score of 230 strokes, with rounds of 77, 75 and 78, finishing Nº14 in the general leaderboard.
